Railway transport
Length of roads: 430.7 km.
The railway line runs through the Northern part of the region, connecting it with Russia and the neighboring Aktobe region. The total length of railway tracks passing through the territory of the region is 430.7 km.

Uralsk — Uralsk international airport in Kazakhstan. The airport "AK Zhol" is able to receive aircraft and helicopters of all types at any time of the day and weather conditions after the reconstruction of the runway in 2016. On July 3, 2019, the modernization of the terminal to the international level began, implying an increase in the terminal area from 4,000 to 8,000 square meters, which will increase passenger traffic to 350,000 per year. During the reconstruction, passengers will be checked in at the international terminal.

Energy infrastructure and heat supply
Electricity production in the region is carried out by the gas turbine power plant (30 MW) of the Ural thermal power plant, the gas turbine plant of JSC "Zhayykteploenergo" (28 MW.), gas turbine power plant KPO b. V. (160 MW.), gas turbine plant LLP "Zhaikmunai" (16 MW.), "Ural gas turbine power plant" LLP (54 MW.), Too "Batys Power" (100 MW). All generated electricity is used by energy sources for own needs of enterprises and needs of consumers.
Transportation of the main volume of electricity in the region is carried out by JSC "West Kazakhstan REC", which is serviced by lines with voltage 220, 110, 35, 10, 6 and 4 kV, length 20437 km, 3047 transformer substations.
Water transport
The geographical location of the Ural River at the junction of Europe and Asia, defines a strategic feature - the possibility of access to the Caspian basin. For navigation, the river fleet is able to transport 30–35 thousand tons of oil products, 1–1.5 million tons of construction cargo and provide passenger transportation services for up to 250 thousand people.
Gas
The Central Asia-Center, Orenburg-Novopskovsk, Soyuz trunk gas pipelines run through the region, their length is 2781 km, and the Atyrau-Samara transit oil pipeline, with a length of 313 km, passes through.
