A seminar on government support measures for investors was held in Uralsk
A seminar on "Government Support Measures for Investment Activities" was held today in Uralsk, organized by the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC.
Arman Aksubayev, Deputy Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Kaliyar Aitmukhambetov, Deputy Akim of the West Kazakhstan Region, delivered remarks.
The seminar was organized to discuss incentives, work in special economic zones, and new mechanisms for protecting investor rights.
"Effective interaction between the government and business directly impacts investment attractiveness, builds investor confidence, and creates the foundation for long-term partnerships," emphasized the Deputy Chairman of the Investment Committee.
In terms of interaction and work with investors, the central link in the system is NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC, which serves as a single point of contact, providing a wide range of services, from accepting applications for investment agreements to supporting projects at all stages of implementation.
Arman Aksubayev also spoke about the National Digital Investment Platform, which currently provides online monitoring of over 1,300 projects worth approximately 80 trillion tenge. This year, the Platform will fully digitize the investment contract process.
The seminar featured presentations by Aliya Murzagalieva, Managing Director of Baiterek NIH, who discussed new support tools available to businesses. Kassym Mukhanbetov, Managing Director of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, shared information on investor support measures for large-scale project lending. Representatives from «DAMU» Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC, Industrial Development Fund JSC, QazIndustry JSC, Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, and The QazTrade Center for Trade Policy Development JSC also spoke.
Then the participants were introduced to the progress of investment projects to expand flour production at Beles-Agro LLC and the construction of the Uralsk Offices LLC hotel, as well as the activities of the Uralskagroremmash JSC plant for the production of special equipment and metal processing.
